May 07, 2006 By: Rumilio Morales Oh, The Taste Of Shrimp CreoleIn a basic shrimp Creole recipe, you will find many savory flavors and spice. Now, depending on what you like in yours, you may want to add more or less of the hot peppers to it. Many people simply use a Chile powder or hot sauce instead of using the actual peppers. This is just fine. Other seasonings ingredients in this dish include onions, green bell peppers, celery, garlic, tomatoes and tomato sauce. Of course, you will want to pick a good quality shrimp as well. You will want them to be bite sized in most cases. Once cooked, the dish is usually served over a plate of steamed rice. It just says, "I'm good", doesn't it? Again, there are many versions of Creole shrimp and you can find them online. If you would like to add additional heat, increase the amount of hot sauce or hot pepper powder, chile powder, that you use. If you want to lessen the seasonings, simply do so. This is one type of food that can be changed around to accommodate the tastes you enjoy. In the end, it is just good food.
